What Is Computer Radiation?

Electromagnetic fields are created wherever electricity is flowing. The electric fields (measured in volts per meter) result from the strength of the charge. Magnetic fields (measured in milligauss) result from the motion of the charge. Both fields together produce EMFs. One example of this is Computer Radiation.

Computer Radiation is a destructive form of non-ionizing radiation found both at home and at work. Besides natural sources, the electromagnetic spectrum also includes fields generated by man-made sources. X-rays are used to detect broken bones after an accident. What makes Computer Radiation different?

One of the main characteristics which defines laptop radiation (EMF) is its frequency or its corresponding wavelength. People can perceive laptop radiation as a series of very regular waves that travel at the speed of light. The frequency describes the number of oscillations or cycles per second, while the term wavelength describes the distance between one wave and the next. Hence wavelength and frequency are related to each other. The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength.

The term “Computer Radiation” refers to all non-ionizing radiation produced, regardless of the frequency or wavelength.

Fields of different frequencies signal the body in different ways. While some frequencies are therapeutic, others are detrimental to human health. Everyone responds to these frequencies from laptop radiation differently. Some people may not experience any negative symptoms for many years.
